AAC
Augmentative and Alternative Communication supports students in expressing their needs, thoughts, and ideas using individualized communication systems, visual supports, and assistive technology integrated throughout the school day.
Social Cognitive Training
Social cognitive training helps students understand social cues, emotions, and perspective-taking while building self-regulation and positive peer interactions through structured lessons and guided practice.
Reading Curriculum
Our reading instruction uses structured, evidence-based programs such as ReadBright, Wilson Reading System, Reading Mastery, Edmark, Open Court, and multisensory phonics approaches to develop decoding, comprehension, fluency, and language skills at each student’s level.
Mathematics Curriculum
Math instruction focuses on building number sense, problem-solving, and functional math skills through explicit, hands-on learning using programs such as Stern Structural Arithmetic, Connecting Math Concepts, My Math, and Go Math!
Behavior Intervention Program
Individualized behavior intervention plans, guided by ABA principles and functional assessment, support positive behavior, emotional regulation, and increased independence using consistent, developmentally appropriate strategies.
Literacy and Author Study
Literacy is enriched through author studies, read-alouds, discussion, and multisensory activities, exposing students to high-quality literature while promoting comprehension, expression, and a love of reading.
Vocational Program & ADL Skills
Students develop independence, daily living skills, and pre-vocational abilities through structured instruction and meaningful real-life experiences that support functional learning and independence.
Thematic Unit
Thematic units integrate academics, sensory experiences, and hands-on learning around engaging topics such as science, social studies, geography, and life skills, helping students build meaningful connections and deepen understanding.
